Llangynidr Hill Climb Challenge 2022

We would like to invite you to join us for the 2022 Llangynidr Hill Climbing challenge.
Location - Red Lion Pub Llangynidr (Duffryn Rd, Llangynidr, Crickhowell NP8 1NT)
Date - Saturday June 25th 2022
Time - 8am - 6pm (last climb attempt starting no later than 6pm)
Cost - £20 Entry (Last entry accepted 18th of June)

The event will be run as in 2019 with the base being the Red Lion Pub from 8am till 6pm and climbing the Mountain as many times as feel comfortable in doing up to a maximum of 10 times. Ascents will be counted for you by a marshal at the top of the climb.
Cereal bars, chocolate bars, fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juices and water will be provided in the Red Lion as part of the fee with the majority of money going to the chosen charity.
The charity for 2022 is Brecon Mountain Rescue.
Brecon Mountain Rescue Team is an emergency service staffed entirely by volunteers and funded entirely by public donations.
The charity will be providing First Aid for participants on the day.
A long steady climb, Llangynidr mountain climbs up an exposed mountain side. Towards the top, there is a false flat before the final push for the line.

As a souvenir of the event we are offering a jersey for £35. This is available from the shop (link above). Part of the cost will be donated to the charity as above.
Last orders for the Jersey will be Friday 22nd of April. Sample kit is available to try on before ordering. Collection will be arranged after the kit has been delivered from the supplier.
