Last year we held a Beer and Spanners (wine and soft drinks also available!) to take club members through some bicycle mechanics basics. We have had a few requests to run something similar, so we had decided that we can combine April’s social gathering with some bicycle maintenance.
This year, the more experienced bike mechanics will be on hand to have a look at your bikes, and advise/assist where possible with any issues you might be experiencing. We will have a limited amount of spare parts available for you to buy on the night if required (brake pads, cables, tubes, chains etc), supplied by Severn Valley Cycles, and out ‘experts’ will be on hand to help you fit them.
Location tbc but likely to be in the function room at The Beaufort Hotel, 7pm til we're done!
So bring along your bike, and lets get those winter squeaks and rattles sorted, wheels round and the gears shifting well. Then we’ll all be set for the summer, when it gets here..!
